Yes — a Säntis wedding is possible in every season. Summer usually brings the most stable conditions. In fall, you might get that famous and unique “sea of clouds” experience. In winter, Schwägalp turns into a snowy fairytale — but the summit can be extremely cold and windy.

One thing to keep in mind: spring doesn’t really arrive on the Säntis until June.

Schwägalp is accessible by car year-round. From there, the Säntis cable car — located right inside the hotel building — takes you up to the summit in just a few minutes.

Important: build in extra buffer time, because the cable car runs on set departure times.
